Bill Brumm, Works in Stained Glass
After spending the last dozen years working full time for the U.S. Forest Service and re-building this old log home with Jamie, I have retired and am going in a new direction…. stained glass. Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated with large, old, catholic cathedrals and their magnificent stained glass windows. So, one of my first designs was a five foot window for our church’s fellowship hall. Among my new works are small University Logos and Kentucky Motifs, well as MORE Garden Themed Flowers, Bugs, and Birds. Now, they are designed to fit your "niche" in the office, home OR garden! Soon, I will be featured on a K.E.T. Special. I expect it to air sometime this summer. If you ever need a special piece for your home, let me know. Jamie usually paints a watercolor picture of the design before I begin so you can visualize what it will look like. Custom work is my specialty! I enjoy the total challenge from design to installation. Bill Jamison Brumm, Age-glyph & Earth-glyph jewelry Imagine taking what’s in your head, adding a little history, and stirring it into modern day, “travel perfect jewelry!” Well, here come my REVERSIBLES! After two decades of jewelry making, studying women-honored cultures, and inventing new ways to wear these works of art, my jewelry is now based on all these experiences. What you see and wear now has historical significance and versatility, textures and patterns uniquely mine, and many pieces can be worn REVERSED, making it "travel perfect." These designs are made with hand-dyed, anodized aluminum, and mixed with crystals, glass, and natural elements. New for 08: REVERSIBLE PINS and a collection of DESIGN YOUR OWN priced nicely at 1/$18, 2/$30, 3/$40. Being creative is a big part of what keeps me happy. And, I am continually grateful to each of you who enjoy sharing your lives with me and stopping by for an art visit! Jamison
